Dr. Shawn Miller
Dr. Miller is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics; he is a highly-trained, gentle, and caring orthodontist who is dedicated to creating beautiful smiles. He helps people gain the confidence they need to achieve everything they deserve in life. He is committed to utilizing only the most advanced techniques and materials, which ensures individualized and personalized care. Over the past 16 years in private practice, his devotion to every detail of treatment has resulted in thousands of happy and smiling patients all over Orange County!

Where – Dr. Miller is from Canada, eh?! Now a dual-citizen, he still loves to travel back ‘home’ each year to visit family and friends!
Who – Dr. Miller is married with 2 children – Chelsea (15) and Preston (13)

Dr. Miller graduated first in his class at UPenn and earned numerous awards and merit scholarships in college, dental school, and residency training (too many to list). He was awarded Dean's Merit Scholarships for both undergraduate and graduate school.
He has published a number of articles in orthodontic journals and was recently the editor-in-chief for the Harvard Dental Alumni for the Advancement of Orthodontics (HDAAO). Currently he is on the Editorial Board of the prestigious Journal of Clinical Orthodontics (JCO) and is the Editor for the Diagnostic Challenge monthly feature (Orthodontists from all over the world submit their most difficult cases to get reviewed and selected for publication). Dr. Miller also has been invited to lecture to other orthodontists and specialists, including at the national American Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery conference in Hawaii in 2014 and Las Vegas in 2016. The world-renowned Mayo Clinic invited Dr. Miller to lecture to their Oral Surgery and Orthodontic departments in Minnesota in 2018.
He has built a reputation of giving back to the community by instituting a number of outreach programs (he never says “no” when asked for donations or sponsorships!). Some community events include our annual high school scholarship program, Teacher of the Year Award, elementary school field trips, athletic sponsorships, and participation in numerous local health fairs. Our offices love to support the businesses and activities of our patients and families.
